Hi Neighbors and Friends,
I am Liz! Many of you have seen me around the neighborhood. I am an Echo Park resident and realtor.
During the past year, so many small businesses have struggled due to the pandemic, specifically restaurants. It has been inspiring and heartbreaking to watch our friends and neighbors pivot their businesses and make changes in order to survive. Not a day has gone by that I didn't think, what is something different I can do to help? I knew I wanted to support and highlight our beautiful neighborhood. So, I hired a very good friend and local artist, Ashley Taylor Stuart to design the map on this postcard and create a fundraiser.
We are producing posters, shirts, and stickers of the map and donating all proceeds to Regarding Her Food, a non-profit devoted to the advancement and empowerment of women restauranteurs. Many of our Echo Park neighbors are part of their program.
I hope you enjoy the map as much as we enjoyed creating it. Thanks for the support and helping our community!
